Rethinking event discovery
Millions arrived ready to book — and too many left before checkout. This is how a cluttered funnel became a confident path from browsing to a ticket in hand.
The problem
Discovery was overloaded, checkout asked for too much too early, and the signals people needed to feel safe were buried below the fold. (Placeholder — replace with the real story.)
- Too many choices with too little guidance on entry.
- A checkout that front-loaded effort before showing value.
- Trust signals scattered across steps instead of held together.
My role
I owned the end-to-end experience: research direction, interaction design, prototypes and the design-system work underneath, partnering with product, engineering and data. (Adjust to what you actually owned.)
Process
We mapped the real funnel against behavioural data, ran short usability sessions on the riskiest moments, and prototyped before committing. Everything shipped behind experiments so we learned in public.
The solution
Discovery was restructured around intent, checkout reduced to essentials, and trust surfaced exactly where the data showed hesitation.
Outcome
All figures are placeholders — swap in numbers you can share.
